# Create Account

Blackboard uses Privy-based embedded wallets. No separate wallet installation or seed phrase is needed.

## How to Sign Up

### Social Login (Recommended)

1. Go to [blackboard.fi](https://blackboard.fi).
2. Log in using one of the following:
   * **Google** account
   * **Apple** account
   * **Email** (verification code sent)
3. An on-chain wallet is automatically created upon login.
4. You are ready to start trading.

Wallets created via social login are protected by Privy's MPC (Multi-Party Computation) technology. No third party, including Blackboard, can access your private keys.

### Connect an Existing Wallet

If you already have a wallet, you can connect it directly:

* MetaMask
* WalletConnect
* Coinbase Wallet
* Phantom

1. Select **Connect Wallet**.
2. Choose the wallet you want to use.
3. Approve the connection request in your wallet.

## Check Your Wallet Address

After account creation, you can view your wallet address in your profile. Use this address to deposit funds.
