Every trade on Blackboard executes on an on-chain protocol. Perpetual futures (including real-world asset markets), prediction markets, options, spot trading, and trading cards all match and settle on the blockchain.

## What to Know Before You Start

Self-custody puts control of your assets back in your hands. That control comes with a few things you handle yourself.

| **Scope of support**        | Blackboard cannot access your assets, so support does not include moving or adjusting funds on your behalf. |
