## General

### Is Blackboard an exchange?

No. Blackboard is a self-custodial trading terminal, an interface that connects to on-chain protocols. It does not hold your assets.

### Who can use it?

Anyone with internet access. Start with a social login (Google, Apple).

Usage is restricted in the United States, Ontario (Canada), and internationally sanctioned countries (North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Syria, Russia, etc.). These restrictions follow the policies of the underlying protocols.

### Is KYC required?

No. Social login or wallet connection is all you need.

### Who is behind Blackboard?

Team information is private.

## Assets & Security

### Are my assets safe?

Blackboard never holds your assets. All funds remain on-chain in your wallet, and trades settle directly through the underlying protocols.

### What if Blackboard goes down?

Your assets are unaffected. Access the protocols directly:

Tokens held in your wallet, including spot assets and trading cards, can be accessed by connecting the same wallet to any other on-chain interface. Physical cards remain redeemable through CollectorCrypt.

### What if my Session Key is compromised?

Session Keys can only execute trades — not withdraw funds. Revoke immediately and create a new one.

### Has Blackboard been audited?

Blackboard does not deploy its own smart contracts. It is an interface layer, and every trade settles on an independently operated on-chain protocol: Aster for crypto perpetuals, Hyperliquid for HIP-3 real-world asset perpetuals, Polymarket for prediction markets and options, and the relevant chain's on-chain protocols for spot trading and trading cards.

### What can I trade?

* **Perpetual Futures**: 400+ crypto markets via Aster, plus 100+ real-world asset markets via HIP-3 on Hyperliquid (equities, indices, FX, commodities priced by on-chain oracles, up to 50x)
* **Prediction Markets**: Politics, economics, sports, and beyond, via Polymarket
* **Options**: Defined-risk option positions on major crypto, settled via Polymarket
* **Spot Trading** (coming soon): on-chain tokens across EVM chains and Solana, plus tokenized global equities and Pre-IPO names
* **Trading Cards**: Physical collectibles tokenized as on-chain spot via CollectorCrypt, with gacha packs and marketplace trading

### What are the fees?

Blackboard fees are discounted by your rolling 30-day volume tier (Bronze through Legendary). Crypto perpetuals: taker 0.0650% down to 0.0430%, maker 0.0250% down to 0.0030%. TradFi perpetuals (HIP-3): Growth Mode rates run taker 0.0340% down to 0.0051%, regular rates taker 0.0700% down to 0.0285%, set per market. ### Minimum trade size?

HIP-3 real-world asset markets: $10 per order (Hyperliquid minimum). For crypto perpetuals, minimums are shown in the trading interface.

### Maximum leverage?

For crypto perpetuals, maximum leverage varies by asset and is shown in the trading interface. HIP-3 real-world asset markets: indices and FX up to 50x, global equities up to 20x, commodities up to 25x.

### How does liquidation work?

### How long do withdrawals take?

1–3 minutes. Timing may vary with network conditions.

## Automation (Coming Soon)

Vault, Agentic Trading, and Marketplace are in development and not yet live. The descriptions below reflect planned behavior.

### What is Agentic Trading?

Describe a strategy in natural language → AI converts it to executable rules → backtest → run automatically.

### What is a Vault?

A managed pool running strategies modeled on world-class hedge-fund and quant approaches. Allocate USDC and the strategy runs for you.

### What is the Marketplace?

Strategists publish strategies, other users subscribe. Copy trading, webhooks, and strategist Vaults.

### Are profits guaranteed?

No. Automation handles execution, not outcomes. Past backtest performance does not guarantee future results.

### Is automation safe?

Strategies run within the risk limits you define. You can stop them manually at any time.

## Technical

### What chains are supported?

Crypto perpetuals run on Aster, HIP-3 real-world asset perpetuals on Hyperliquid L1, and prediction markets and options on Polygon (Polymarket). USDC deposits are instant and free on Arbitrum, Polygon, HyperEVM, and Solana, and routed on Ethereum, Base, and BNB Chain. USDT and major crypto (BTC, ETH, SOL, HYPE) deposits are also supported via routing.

### Is there a mobile app?

Web browser for now. Native iOS and Android apps are coming soon.
